The MSC and Findus set an example

The Marine Stewardship Council was founded as an independent, global non-profit organization in 1997 to support sustainable fishing across the globe. It was initiated by Unilever and the international independent conservation organization WWF.

Purpose of this initiative was to set standards for sustainable fisheries. Numerous scientists, fishery-experts and environmental organizations worked together to create these standards. The MSC administrates the standards and rewards sustainable fisheries with the blue MSC-Label.

The Marine Stewardship Council

You can trust that seafood with the blue MSC label was caught by a responsible fishery in a sustainable way - to preserve the population and biodiversity of our oceans.

Findus is actively engaging in executing sustainable fishery, wherever the fish in our products origins.

Sustainable fishing means leaving enough fish in the ocean, respecting habitats and ensuring people who depend on fishing can maintain their livelihoods.

Act now!
Fish is becoming more popular worldwide. We at Findus Canada are very proud that our entire fish is MSC-Certified, for example our English Style Fish Fillets.
